Wei Liu focuses on criminal law and has nearly 30 years of legal practice experience since beginning his career in 1995. He has handled a range of cases in criminal defence, corporate legal affairs, and civil and commercial disputes, across both contentious and advisory matters.

Mr Liu specialises in defending serious, complex, and challenging criminal cases. In multiple difficult second-instance cases, he has achieved results such as acquittals, case withdrawals, non-prosecution decisions, and sentences below the statutory minimum. His work has been honored with the “First Prize for Excellent Criminal Defence Cases” by the Shanghai Bar Association.
