Yiguang Gao
Profile
Yiguang Gao is a Senior Partner of Intcolaw Partners Shanghai. He holds a Master of Laws from Liaoning University and focuses on finance and commercial law.
Before entering private practice, he worked in the commercial division of a court and was later seconded to the legal affairs division of a municipal government department in Shanghai, where he drafted local regulatory documents and worked on sector compliance.
Corporate and Transactional Work
Mr Gao advises state-owned enterprises, technology companies, state-owned asset platforms and private equity funds on ongoing corporate matters, due diligence, investment and financing, M&A, bond issuances and trust products. Clients named in his experience include COMAC, Ping An Technology, Wuxi Urban Construction, China Development Bank Industrial Fund, Chuhou Fund, Qifu Fund and Guanghua Fund.
Commercial Disputes
He handles disputes arising from investment agreements, shareholder rights and shareholders’ resolutions, as well as other complex commercial matters before courts and arbitral tribunals.
Economic Crime
He also advises companies and individuals on economic offences, including embezzlement, contract fraud, financial fraud and matters involving securities, bonds, tax, investment and financing. His work includes criminal complaints, applications for bail and defence at trial.
