Changming Liu graduated from Sichuan University with a dual degree in engineering and law, and obtained his master’s degree from Southwest Jiaotong University. He subsequently practised in Beijing, where he qualified as a patent agent. His areas of practice include intellectual property, civil and commercial dispute resolution, administrative review and litigation, criminal defence, and ongoing corporate advisory work.
In his previous work, Changming Liu has independently handled over a hundred cases and served as legal counsel to a range of government bodies and enterprises, accumulating extensive professional experience. He has served as a committee member of the Young Lawyers’ Working Committee, the Administrative and Government Legal Advisers’ Research Association, and the Intellectual Property Law Research Association, all under the Beijing Daxing District Bar Association.

Civil and Commercial Law
Changming Liu has represented clients in a range of civil and commercial cases, including contractual disputes, tort claims, labour arbitration and litigation, across a range of sectors.
Administrative Review and Litigation
Changming Liu previously worked on administrative review matters at the Xicheng District Government in Beijing and served as legal adviser to the Shenyang and Nanjing Bureaus of the National Natural Resources Inspectorate. In this capacity, he has provided legal services to the government whilst also representing businesses and members of the public in asserting their legitimate rights and interests before the authorities.
Intellectual Property
Drawing on his background in engineering, Changming Liu obtained his patent agent qualification during his legal career and has handled patent-related consultancy cases.
