• Master’s degree in International Economic Law, Nankai University Institute of International Economic Law.
• Master’s degree, BPP Law School, United Kingdom.
• Qualified to practise in China and admitted as an attorney in California.

Experience

Dong Ren previously practised at King & Wood Mallesons and spent more than ten years leading foreign legal affairs and legal functions at companies including New O Group, Suning Group and Tiens Group. She has advised on transactions valued from USD 500,000 to more than USD 1 billion and on foreign investment projects in China with an aggregate stated value exceeding USD 5 billion.

Her sector experience includes energy, retail, manufacturing, blockchain and fintech. She advises on M&A, financing, restructuring, outsourcing and OEM arrangements, technology licensing, compliance, joint ventures, distribution and commercial disputes. She has also advised major energy companies on projects in the United States and Canada.
